The alarm announced 7 am loudly. I groped the bed with closed eyes to discover the source of sound. But someone else came to rescue and turned it off.
Bright sunlight was flooding the room.
“Close the curtains Rhea”, I shouted like always.
Brisk footsteps followed the jingles of anklets. Then a soft hand quickly closed the curtains. Fresh fragrance of lavender filled the room.
“Tea is ready. Wake up”, she said gently.
With much reluctance, I opened my eyes.
Rhea was beaming in front of me.
Suddenly I remembered something. Rhea is here.
Then whom did I bury yesterday?
