This July I got the opportunity to work with six most talented writers as we geared up for a group competition in one of the writing group.
We got a prompt to write about a story that follows an empty street. Empty as in silent and devoid of life.
The first thing that comes to mind with this prompt is perhaps the current Lockdown situation. But, we decided to stay away from it completely
But, a street cannot go empty on its own, right?
So we brainstormed and decided to write on various genres surrounding that silent road and made sure all are different from each other. Yes, mostly tragedy follows such silence and many of our story followed that suite yet, there were two talented writers who could bring out a chuckle in such scenario too.
So these are the links of our box of stories which has a horror, satire, historical fiction, dystopia, social message as well as SOC(Streams of consciousness).
The stories are listed below. Please check them out and believe me you won’t be disappointed.
